Dr. Jean Marie Star, DDS, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orofacial Sciences, seamlessly integrating pediatric dentistry with a robust focus on public health. She earned her DDS from UCSF School of Dentistry, followed by specialized training in pediatric dentistry, and an MPH from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Dr. Star's research revolves around the fusion of public health principles into pediatric dentistry, emphasizing improved access to care and safety in dental settings, including pioneering telehealth strategies.
