Dr. Fitz J. Brooks is currently serving as a second-year pediatric dental resident and Chief Resident at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. Originally from Jamaica, Dr. Brooks immigrated to the United States during high school. He earned his undergraduate degree from Bethune-Cookman University and later attained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida.
Prior to his residency, Dr. Brooks served as an active-duty army officer for five years, which included advanced education in general dentistry training for one year. Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Brooks enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, indulging in culinary experiences, exploring the outdoors, and staying active.
