Shalin N. Shah, DMD, MA is a second year pediatric dentistry resident attending the combined program at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Shalin was born and raised in Troy, MI and moved to Oxford, OH and received a BA from Miami University in 2016 where he was a Zoology major and a Neuroscience minor. Following college, he received his MA in Biomedial Sciences from Midwestern University in 2017, and his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2022. During his time at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and UPenn, Shalin was a member of the CHOP Residents and Fellow Advisory Committee (RAFAC) and has spoken at many Pediatric Dental events about the residency experience. Following residency, Shalin will be presenting his research at the 13th Biennial International 22q11.2 Conference in Silver Coast, Portugal before beginning his career as a pediatric dentist in the metro Detroit area.
