I am Sara Fatima, DDS, MPH, pediatric dental resident at Cooper Uinversity Hospital. With a dual background in dentistry and public health, I bring a unique perspective to my role, combining clinical expertise with a focus on community well-being. My commitment to pediatric dentistry stems from a deep-rooted passion for improving the oral health of young patients nand making a lasting impact on their lives. My journey began as a foreign trained dentist from Indis, where i cultivated my passion for my future endeavors. After pursuing my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at New York University, I embarked on a new chapter in my career, working as a general dentist and honing my skills in various dental specialties.
However, it was in the realm of pediatric dental care that i discovered my true calling and found my purpose. Transitioning from general dentistry to pediatric dentistry, I realised the profound impact I could make in the lives of young patients and their families. Working tirelessly to provide compassionate and comprehensive care, I found fulfillment in nurturing health smiles and promoting positive oral health habits in children.
As a foreign-trained dentist turned pediatric dental specialist, I bring a diverse perspective, cultural richness, and a deep sense of empathy to my practice. Each day I am inspired by the smiles of the chidren I care for and driven by the opportunity to make a lasting impact on their oral health and overall well-being. Through my experiences and continous learning, I have embraced the challenges and joys of working with children, recognizing the importance of early intervention and preventive care in shaping their dental health journey. My journey in pediatric dental care is a testament to passion, perseverance, and commitment to providing the highest standard of care for the youngest members of our community.
