Dr. Hans C. Reinemer was born in Sacramento, California but raised in Anchorage, Alaska. He currently resides in Holladay, Utah. He enjoys cycling, camping, hiking, fishing, any outdoor adventure, hockey, golf, and cheering on anything the children and grandchildren are doing.
Dr. Reinemer graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Utah and then travelled to Portland, Oregon to begin his dental education at the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry. He received his D.M.D. degree in 1991 and was accepted to the Residency Program in Pediatric Dentistry at the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. The training program consisted of rotations at the School of Dentistry, the Children's Hospital of Dallas, and the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. The experiences at these institutions have provided Dr. Reinemer with the confidence and knowledge to treat children of all ages as well as children with complicated medical histories and special needs. He completed his residency program in 1993 and received a Certificate of Advanced Training in Pediatric Dentistry as well as a Master of Science Degree in Oral Biology.
Dr. Reinemer is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Utah Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Additionally, as a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, he maintains his standing as a Diplomate and Examiner of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He currently serves as Medical Director for the Pediatric Dental Residency Program and Division Chief of Dentistry at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah and Section Head of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Utah School of Dentistry.
