PGY-2 Pediatric Dentistry Resident

My name is Dr. John Christopher Schmidt, Jr. DDS, and I am a second year pediatric dental resident at LSUHSC School of Dentistry in New Orleans. I grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana, and attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where I graduated with a BS in Biological Sciences in 2017. I graduated from LSUHSC School of Dentistry in May of 2022, after which I started pediatric dental residency in July. After graduation, I am happy to say that I am returning home to open a practice and begin serving the children of the Shreveport/Bossier City area.
