This is Dr. Fadia Bazina BDS, MSD, PhD, I am a dedicated pediatric dental resident, with a passion for advancing pediatric dental care and education. With a rich background in both clinical practice and academia. After I finished dental school, I worked as a general dentist treating adult and pediatric patients at a public hospital. I also worked in the community to provide dental education and care to preschool students throughout Benghazi. I was awarded a prestigious scholarship to pursue my master's and residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Alexandria University, Egypt. Following the completion of my master's and residency, I joined the faculty at Garyounis University. Driven by my passion for serving special-needs patients, I completed a fellowship at Case Western Reserve University. Additionally, I was involved in a longitudinal study on enamel defects in very low birth weight children. In 2014, I pursued a Ph.D. in Oral Biology and Pathology at Stony Brook University, conducting pioneering research on the role of Streptococcus mutans in early childhood caries. I worked as a Research Teaching Specialist at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, Department of Oral Biology before I joined my residency program at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine specializing in Pediatric Dentistry. Throughout my academic journey, I have remained committed to teaching and serving as an Adjunct Professor at Suffolk County Community College in New York.
