Ghassem Ansari
Born and raised in Iran where he did a bachelor degree in School teaching before joining SBMU Tehran for his dental degree. He has two younger brothers and a daughter and a son. He had a short period of teaching in dental schools of Isfahan and Tehran before he starting at Glasgow University of Scotland where he did his residency training and his PhD before returning to Tehran for his teach and practice. He had traveled to several countries to attend dental congresses making friends. At one point he was offered to teach in UAE where he spent two years with a wide range of undergrad and post grads in Peds. He had several roles in dental journalistic activities among which being editor in-chief of two Iranian Dental journals and Editorial board member of the Int J Ped Dent are his highlights. As he had a desire to serve children in need he initiated and stablished a dental sedation training in his country for the first time within the university and affiliated children hospital. Research had been one of his main focuses and expertise where he can be found as a great helper in methodology and publication. Swim and hike are the main two ongoing activities that he desires most and welcomes group events. Lately, he decided to pursue his carrier in US and join the sedation team of UCLA as a preceptor in 2015 and moved with his family to live in LA. He then joined our team as an advanced placement candidate and enjoys his presence in Florida since. Believe it or not he is now a certified PedoGator and he loves it.
