Erica Caffrey, DDS is a pediatric dentist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Maryland. She received her dental degree from Columbia University and completed her specialty training at Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC. Her areas of clinical and research interest include social determinants of children's oral health and dental management of children with complex medical histories. She is incoming Chair of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry's Council of Clinical Affairs and serves in leadership roles on the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Oral Health.
