Nicholas Carlson, DMD, Second-year Pediatric Dentistry Resident at Riley Hospital for Children and postgraduate student at Indiana University School of Dentistry. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, in a town named Richland, Washington, better known as one of the cities that makes up the "Tri-Cities" of Washington. I attended the University of Washington in Seattle, where in 2018 I received my undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Following college graduation, I attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, in which I received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2022. My time in dental school led me to pursuing a career in pediatrics, and following graduation in the summer of 2022, I became a resident of the pediatric dentistry program at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana.
