Dr. Awa Seck is a 2nd year pediatric dental resident at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. She is part of the 3-year dual degree program where in addition to her Pediatric Dentistry Certificate and Masters in Oral Sciences she is pursuing a Masters in Public Health under the Health Policy and Administration track. She attended the University of San Francisco where she earned her BS in Biological Sciences. Following her graduation from USF, Dr. Seck served as an AmeriCorps volunteer and Program Facilitator at the University of Washington School of Dentistry in the Office of Educational Partnerships and Diveristy. Dr. Seck continued on to pursue her graduate studies at Rutgers, The State University where she earned her Masters in Biological Sciences. She attended dental school at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr. Seck has a strong interest in community health, public policy, advocacy, and prevention.
