Filipa Barata da Fonseca, DDS

Filipa Barata da Fonseca is a second year student on the postgraduate course specializing in pediatric dentistry, at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Lisbon, Portugal.
Dra. Filipa is originally from Coimbra where she grew up with her family. She did her master's in dentistry at the Fernando Pessoa University. Her love of pediatric dentistry soon became apparent, and she choose to do her final thesis in this field.
She has taken various courses in the area in order to deepen her knowledge and develop her techniques. Recently took a course in conscious sedation and other one in the rehabilitation of structurally compromised posterior teeth.
She is passionate about improving children's oral and dental health.
