Egypt Loftin-Smith, DDS is currently a PGY-2 Pediatric Dentistry resident at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Loftin was born and raised in Boston, MA. She attended the University of Massachusetts Boston where she graduated with a B.S in Exercise and Health Sciences, Magna Cum Laude. Before enrolling in dental school, Dr. Loftin dedicated time to shadowing numerous dentists. It was during this period that she was particularly struck by the Pediatric specialty, nurturing the aspiration to one day realize her dream of becoming a Pediatric Dentist. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Howard University College of Dentistry. While there, she served as Vice President of the AAPD Howard Chapter, co-investigator in pediatric dental research, and participated in various community outreach programs.
Dr. Loftin is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and American Student Dental Association.
Dr. Loftin currently lives in Massachusetts. She enjoys listening to music, traveling, snowboarding, and spending time with her cocker-spaniel.
