Alexa R. Martin, DMD

Alexa Martin, DMD is a second year pediatric dentistry resident at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Martin grew up in Birmingham, Alabama before heading to Tuscaloosa to attend the University of Alabama, where she graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. She then obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Currently in her residency, she has been selected to complete the year-long Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities Traineeship, focusing on interdisciplinary care for patients of all ages with special needs. Her ultimate mission is to educate both parents and children on preventive dental care. She recognizes that each child has different needs and is committed to providing the highest quality of dental care to her patients in a fun and enjoyable environment.
