Shamus Cooper, DDS, is a Second-Year Pediatric Dentistry Resident at Riley Hospital for Children and Postgraduate Student at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Cooper was born in Buffalo, New York but was raised in High Point, North Carolina. He recieved his undergraduate education from Davidson College, graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, with a concentration in Biochemistry. After undergrad, he worked in a kindey disease research lab at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Cooper then attended the University of North Carolina for his dental training, graduating in 2022. The summer after graduating he started the pediatric dentistry residency at Riley Hospital of Children in Indianapolis, Indiana. When he is not at Riely you will likely find him working out at F45 or at the movies utlizing his AMC stubz a-list membership. He has three small dogs that join him on weekend adventures around Indianapolis and get their teeth brushed everynight. Dr. Cooper's favorite place to be is in the sun, likely on a beach or near a body of water. Upon graduation he will be mobing back to Charlotte, NC and joining Growing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry as an associate.
