Dr. Rah-Taja M. Doggett, DMD, MS is a current PGY-2 at NYU Langone-Holyoke, Massachusetts. Dr. Rah-Taja Doggett was born and raised in Lufkin, TX. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2012. In 2018, she received a Master’s in Biology Medical Sciences from Mississippi College and continued her studies at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2022.
While in attendance at TUSDM, Dr. Doggett participated on SNDA’s e-board, on ASDA district one’s team as Vice Chair of advocacy. She also volunteered for community service activities like Boston Living Center, American Heart Association, Give Kids a Smile and many more. She was inducted into Tufts University’s Honus Civicus Society for stellar community service.
Dr. Doggett worked with children as a case manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas before attending dental school. She has always enjoyed working with children and wants to continue working with pediatric patients in underserved populations. She is the eldest of three and an Aunt. She loves spending time with family and friends. In her spare time, Dr. Rah-Taja freelance models. Her favorite hobbies are fashion/shopping and trying different restaurants. After residency, Dr. Doggett will practice pediatric dentistry in Texas.
