Dr. Daniel Young is a dedicated Pediatric Dental Resident currently advancing his expertise at Howard University in Washington, DC. His academic foundation is rooted in a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the esteemed University of the Dentistry of Columbia. Building on this strong scientific base, he achieved his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Howard University, solidifying his commitment to dentistry. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., where he holds the role of an advisor. In this capacity, he dedicates himself to providing mentorship and guidance to undergraduate students. He is heavily involved in research focusing on and engaging public health concerns in underrepresented minority communities. His research has been featured in the Journal of Dental Education. He is a National Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry member. He enjoys fishing, cooking, and following current advances related to the practice of pediatric dentistry.
