PGY-2 Pediatric Dental Resident at Cooper University Hospital

I am an experienced dentist with a decade of expertise in General Dentistry and in the dental pediatric field. In 2011, I received my first dental degree, Degree of Doctor in Stomatology, from the University of Havana College of Dentistry in La Havana, Cuba. In 2014, I moved to the USA and worked as a registered dental assistant in Austin, Texas, in a pediatric office for 5 years. In 2019, I was accepted into the Advanced Placement for International Dentists program at the UPR School of Dental Medicine where I obtained my second dental degree as DMD in 2021. Following this, I completed one year of post-doctoral program at NYU Langone / San Juan, PR Advance Education in General Dentistry (AEGD Residency) in 2021-2022. In this moment I am pursuing my dream of becoming a pediatric dentist and have been accepted in 2022 into Cooper University Hospital's pediatric residency program as its first class.
