Hemal Patel BDS, MDS is a second year pediatric dental resident at Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston University. She earned her dental degree from Maharashtra University, India and completed a masters degree program in Pediatric Dentstry from India. Her master's thesis focused on "Comparative Evaluation of the Reactive Dentin Formation Potential of Ca3SiO5-Based Dentin Substitute and Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) in Vital Pulp Therapy – An In-Vivo Study." She served as a pediatric dentist at a federally qualified tertiary care hospital before moving to the United States. She gained additional knowledge in Orthodontics as a clinical precceptor from Rutgers University. To follow her desire to serve children, she gained further academic and clinical experience in pediatric dentistry from Boston University. Dr. Patel is passionate about providing high-quality oral healthcare to children and adolescents, and is committed to creating a positive and comfortable dental experience for all the young patients.
