Dr. Suraj Chavda, DDS MPH is a 2nd year pediatric dentistry resident at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He is originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He completed his BSc at the University of Alberta. He then completed a Master of Public Health in Health Policy & Managmeent at the University of Alberta. His masters focused on e-cigarette legal regulation recommendations at municipal, provincial and federal levels. He then complete his dental degree at the University of Alberta in 2019. He then moved to Vancouver, British Columbia to complete a GPR at Vancouver General Hospital. After GPR, worked in rural general dentistry in rural Alberta for 2 years. He is currently completing the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) Fellowship through the Department of Developmental Pediatrics and Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) at the University of Rochester while in his pediatric dentistry residency.
