Mitzi Wasden, DDS, MS

Mitzi Wasden DDS, MS is the Associate Program Director at Primary Children's Hopsital in Salt Lake City. She was born and raised in Ohio and currently resides in Ephraim, Utah. She enjoys outdoor activies, baking, and anything that her 2 teenage kids are involved in.

Dr. Wasden earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery and a Master of Science from THE Ohio State University and a certificate of Pediatric Dentistry from Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. The experiences at these institutions have provided Dr. Wasden with the knowledge and ability to treat children of all ages as well as children with complicated medical histories and special needs. Dr Wasden enjoyed 20 years in private practice including starting her own practice in Cottonwood, Arizona. Pursuing her passion to teach, Dr. Wasden accepted a position within the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and has been there for four years. Since her move to Utah she is thrilled to be the Associate Program Director at Primary Children's Hospital.

Dr. Wasden is currently an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Additionally, as a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, she maintains her standing as a Diplomate and an Examiner for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
