Brian Pitts, MD is an Adolescent Medicine specialist at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He provides primary and specialty care to adolescents at Children's Hospital Colorado. His professional interest and expertise lies mental health care in outpatient medical settings. In addition to his clinical work, he advances research on implementation of suicide prevention initiatives in youth primary care settings, publishing on mental health topics in Pediatrics and the Journal of Adolescent Health. He serves as the co-chair of the Mental Health Committee for the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM) and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Adolescent Health.
