He graduated from Utah State University and completed dental school and residency at UT San Antonio. He served in the Navy in Rota, Spain and later finished a residency in Orthodontics at UT Houston. He has given presentations on the State, National, and International levels in Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics.
