The American family has undergone significant change in recent decades, and there has been an apparent cultural shift toward time-intensive, child-centered parenting. This course will detail those changes and their impact on child development and resiliency. This session will also explore how pediatric dentistry can adapt to today's families regarding behavior guidance techniques with children and communication with parents.
