The Use of the Hall Technique Among Pediatric Dentists Following the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to survey active members of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) to determine how the use of the Hall Technique has changed following the COVID-19 pandemic and to identify any trends amongst Hall Technique usage between practitioners.
Methods: An invitation to participate in an online survey regarding Hall Technique usage will be sent via email to active members of the AAPD.
Results: Upon compilation of completed surveys, descriptive statistical analysis will be completed.
Conclusion: The results of this study will help assess how the use of the Hall Technique changed following the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, numbers permitting, the study will explore the association between current (i.e., post- COVID-19 pandemic) level of use of the Hall Technique with selected characteristics of practitioners such as experience, as assessed by years since graduation, settings, i.e., private practice / hospital / academic etc., and region of practice.
